When the pandemic hit, new problems arose as churches struggled with the transition, and sadly in many churches, Sabbath School has gone the way of all flesh. For churches that have managed to maintain a virtual presence, too many have discovered that these widespread issues got worse as even the faithful few who had been attending out of tradition or obligation now had plenty of better options to choose from, be it another online broadcast or the bed.
The core role and service of Sabbath School, whether held virtually or in-person, are still desperately vital for the spiritual growth of the attendees, yet online facilitators have many new concerns to add to their existing ones.
